Itinerary :

  • 06:30 AM – Morning Preparation: Begin your journey with an energizing, nutritious breakfast at your Senaru accommodation to ensure you are fully fueled for the ascent.
  • 07:30 AM – Registration & Briefing: Proceed to the Rinjani Trekking Center (RTC) for official park registration and a comprehensive safety and health briefing from your guide.
  • 08:00 AM – Trail Commencement: Step into the pristine, lush environment of the tropical rainforest. The thick canopy provides a cool, shaded environment for the first few hours of the hike. Wildlife Note: Keep an eye out for the rare black ebony leaf monkeys swinging through the canopy.
  • 12:00 PM – Mountain Lunch: Pause at POS 2 (Montong Satas) to rest and rejuvenate. Enjoy a freshly prepared, hot meal cooked by your porter team.
  • 04:00 PM – Summiting the Rim: Emerge from the treeline to reach the spectacular Senaru Crater Rim at an elevation of 2,641 meters. Your premium campsite will already be set up and waiting for you.
  • 06:30 PM – Sunset Dinner: Indulge in a warm, hearty dinner. Relax and take in a mesmerizing sunset that illuminates Segara Anak Lake and the distant silhouette of Bali's Mount Agung.
  • 06:00 AM – Sunrise & Breakfast: Wake up above the clouds to a breathtaking mountain sunrise. Enjoy a hot cup of freshly brewed coffee or tea alongside a delicious breakfast prepared by your team.
  • 08:00 AM – The Descent Begins: Break camp and commence the scenic, steady descent. Transition from the open savanna back into the rich biodiversity of the rainforest. Safety Note: The descent trail can occasionally be slippery; we recommend utilizing trekking poles and pacing yourself comfortably.
  • 11:30 AM – Midday Break: Halt at POS 1 for a satisfying lunch and a well-deserved rest before tackling the final leg of the journey.
  • 02:00 PM – Triumphant Return: Emerge from the forest boundary and arrive back at Senaru Village, celebrating the successful completion of your Rinjani expedition.
  • 03:00 PM – Onward Journey: Retrieve any luggage stored safely at our base camp. Enjoy a seamless, comfortable vehicle transfer to your next destination on the island of Lombok.
